You’re not broken

If you are a teenager, I’m talking to you. Your parents may think you need help, and I want to make sure you feel like… if you get help, you won’t feel even more like there is something wrong with you that needs to be fixed. I am not here to fix you. I am here to see you and hear you and walk alongside you on your journey.

Maybe you’re tired of the way things are going right now. You don’t feel seen or heard and want someone to understand you.

Even if they don’t seem like it, your parents want you to feel happier, to like yourself more, to be (or feel) more successful.

Whatever it is…

Maybe you are worrying about school, about achievement, about your friendships, or maybe even about your own self-worth

Maybe you are struggling in your relationship with your parents. Or you are struggling to find meaning and connection, and in learning to be more grown up…

I suspect you want to be an extraordinary adult. I bet you want to feel good about yourself, to figure out who you are, and like you more than you do.

My guess is you get so frustrated when you feel stuck, misunderstood, or lonely. You probably want to contribute, but you don’t know how. You haven’t learned everything yet, and you still have to rely on adults for a lot of things.

Don’t you wish you could make your own rules already? Make your own decisions?

Change is possible

If these things could change, if a magic wand swept over your life, you’d feel happier more of the time.

You’d feel more confident and more capable to do what you dream of! And in the midst of it all, you could also feel connected, supported, and believed in by the people you care about most.

Maybe you like to play video games, hang out with your friends, watch movies and TV shows, do your sports, take care of your pets. Whatever you value most, I believe values are like fingerprints - to be noticed, appreciated and celebrated as the unique, beautiful things they (you) are.

You can be you

As for me, I love to work with young people who are ready for help and seeking to discover more about themselves, so they can grow into the positive image of the adult they imagine themselves to be.

I have worked with all kinds of teens. I’ve worked with adolescents with anxiety, depression, bipolar, suicidal ideation, family conflict, and school challenges. I’ve done it all, and I’ve never met a teen I didn’t love. Really.

I meet teens face to face with compassion, humanity, non-judgment and sharp perception

I can help adolescents who feel like you, by being me.
